A revista francesa Tennis Addict (website tennisaddict.fr) fez um teste entre 11 tênis diferentes que classificou o tênis SHT 307 como o melhor de todos. No teste em 2012 o SHT 308 novamente é escolhido o melhor tênis do mercado.

French tennis magazine, “tennisaddict” evaluated YONEX SHT-307EX, which are worn by Lleyton Hewitt and David Nalbandian, as the best all-court shoes out of 11 tennis shoes. The testers say that SHT-307EX has a lot of good points and no weak points.

Especially, “Comfort” and “Stability” got 1st place among tested shoes in addition to the performance of Cushioning and Twisting, which got full marks 20/20.

As for the light weight, SHT-307EX was ranked as the third place, which ensures more comfortable feel during playing.

The performance of quick response marked 15.5/20 points and durability did 15.6/20 points. These are also excellent results of SHT-307EX.

Em 2010 o tênis Yonex SHT 307  recebeu uma excelente crítica do ponto de vista médico (ortopédico):

YONEX Tennis footwear SHT-307CL got a good evaluation in the May issue of Tennis Magazin in Germany, esta é uma revista que sempre está fazendo blind testes com equipamentos.

Mr. Holger Lüumltz, who is a master of orthopedics shoe techniques mentioned about SHT-307CL, “The material is solid and provides very good hold. Simultaneously, the shoes are not heavy, and a player can easily and lightly sprint on the court. The tab is firmly sutured at both sides with the inner lining to avoid slipping. Whilst playing, it does not press or rub any part of foot. And also the ventilation works. There were no perspiration-feet after the practice.”

From the medical point of view, he also said, “The YONEX model has a lot of tennis-specific functions: It offers great stability, especially for outward movement. It is generated by the fact that the foot is pressed inward. Therefore, there is very low rick to twist the ankle. The shock-absorbent material in the heel part offers additional stability. The knee moves slightly outward with the forward step. It could be uncomfortable for players having meniscus problems.”
